Senior Accountant

Summary:

Provide financial analysis and reporting to ensure accurate period-end consolidation.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing period-end financial consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. By driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing financial consolidation processes, you will enhance operational efficiency and contribute to business insights.

  • Location: Northridge, California (Hybrid)

Day in the Life of a Senior Accountant:

  • Lead financial consolidation efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Drive improvements in financial consolidation processes and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and support ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications of a Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial consolidation or accounting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
