As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies, maintain positive relationships, and manage month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
In this role, you will play a key part in streamlining AP procedures, providing accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Day in the Life of a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues.
Qualifications of a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable.
- Strong understanding of AP systems and processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
