Project Manager

Summary:

Manage business-critical projects through full life cycles.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee critical business projects from inception to completion, focusing on non-IT applications and processes. You will work collaboratively with project sponsors, business units, and users to define project scope, set objectives, and manage project resources.

This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring successful project outcomes by delivering effective solutions within specified timelines and budgets. You will be accountable for project tracking, reporting, and presenting updates to stakeholders.

  • Type: Contract
  • Hours per week: 40 hours
  • Location: Des Plaines, IL (On-Site)

Day in the Life of a Project Manager:

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Collaborate with sponsors to define requirements and outcomes.
  • Oversee all project phases, from planning to implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including Design Control.
  • Report on project progress and provide expert guidance

Qualifications of a Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, or related field.
  • 1-6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with new product development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Design Control processes and regulations.
  • Project management certification preferred
