Summary:
Drive strategic planning and execution of meetings and events to achieve business objectives.
Role Overview:
As a Corporate Meeting Planner, you will plan and organize business-related meetings and events, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to policies and regulations.
Day in the Life:
- Plan and manage event logistics, budgets, and billing for internal and external meetings.
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate vendors, hotels, and ancillary services.
- Oversee attendee registration, communication, and accommodations to ensure smooth participation.
- Select and coordinate technical services like AV, mobile apps, and audience engagement tools.
- Generate and analyze reports to evaluate event metrics and outcomes.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with no experience required.
- Proven event planning experience, including managing budgets and logistics.
- Proficiency in sourcing and negotiating vendor contracts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with event technology, including registration systems and audience engagement tools.
