Summary:
Design and create packaging and product artwork to support manufacturing requirements. Ensure artwork compliance with design standards, verify vendor proofs, and manage multiple projects effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and quality in all packaging and labeling designs.
Role Overview:
As a Graphic Designer, you will develop packaging and product artwork to support manufacturing and labeling requirements. You will manage artwork approvals, maintain design compliance, and ensure high-quality production standards. Working in a hybrid environment, you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to create accurate and standardized packaging designs.
Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer:
- Design packaging and product artwork following compliance standards.
- Verify vendor proofs and make necessary corrections.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on artwork development.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) on a Mac.
Qualifications of a Graphic Designer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Experience in graphic design production, preferably in medical device labeling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Familiarity with Mac operating systems and label printing applications.
