Title: Product Buyer
Type: FT Contract
Hours per week: 40 hours
Location: Plymouth, MN (on-site 4 days a week, 1 from home – Hybrid)
Summary:
Drive procurement support for new product introductions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Role Overview:
As a Product Buyer, you will support procurement activities for research and development and new product teams, ensuring adherence to best purchasing practices to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Day in the Life:
- Create and process purchase orders following standard procurement protocols.
- Schedule deliveries and manage inventory in line with project demands.
- Obtain and review vendor information for accurate pricing and delivery.
- Support strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
- Complete orders and manage invoice resolution through order closure.
Your Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or commodity management.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP preferred.
- Proficient in business concepts, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with keen attention to detail.
