Summary:
Review and proofread written content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. Ensure consistency and adherence to style guidelines, managing projects with a focus on high-quality, error-free content across multiple channels.
Role Overview:
As a Proofreader, you will be responsible for reviewing and proofreading content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency. You will work closely with marketing professionals to align content with strategy and business objectives. This role requires strong writing, proofreading, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the company’s communication standards and ensuring that all content resonates with a wide range of audiences.
Day in the Life:
- Proofread content for clarity, grammar, spelling, and consistency.
- Review written materials for alignment with business objectives and messaging strategy.
- Manage and direct projects requiring leadership and autonomy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets company standards.
- Ensure all written content adheres to AP writing style and AMA references.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a creative communications or agency setting.
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with AP writing style and AMA references.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with marketing teams.
