Manage purchasing operations and supplier relationships for direct and indirect procurement.

Role Overview:

As a Purchasing Associate, you will oversee purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with quality systems. You will support supply and demand functions, process purchase orders, and collaborate with vendors, manufacturing, and engineering teams to maintain operational efficiency.

Day in the Life of a Purchasing Associate:

  • Manage direct and indirect purchasing activities
  • Process purchase orders and collaborate with vendors and internal teams
  • Utilize MRP and SAP systems for procurement operations
  • Analyze supply and demand data for purchasing decisions
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems in procurement functions

Qualifications of a Purchasing Associate:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred
  • 1-3 years of purchasing experience in a regulated industry or medical device sector
  • Experience with MRP, SAP, and data analytics
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build supplier relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
