Technical Analyst

Partner with product, business, and engineering teams to analyze technical requirements and support the re-platforming of the member portal.

Pay Information: $41 – $45/hour
Location: Minnetonka, MN (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

As a Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Digital Product Owner in re-platforming the member portal and improving its core functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical requirements are clearly defined and implemented effectively. Your contributions will help enhance the digital platform, providing members with an efficient way to manage their health plans, view claims, make payments, and access ID cards, all while ensuring that features align with strategic goals and quality standards.

Day in the Life:

  • Gather and document technical requirements for the member portal and mobile app re-platforming initiative.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the re-platforming process by identifying and recommending improvements to current platform architecture.
  • Act as a liaison between product, design, engineering, and business teams to ensure alignment.
  • Contribute to testing and troubleshooting efforts to ensure successful implementation and deployment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year as a Technical Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on digital channels.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with digital ecosystems, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and supporting agile product development processes.
  • Experience with re-platforming, large-scale system upgrades, or legacy system modernization.
