For Celarity Senior Recruiter, Sarah Morgan, life has been a tale of adventure. This “nothing-ventured-nothing-gained” attitude began at age one, when she was found sitting on a table eating a bowl of raw onions, completely unfazed. In kindergarten, she learned to expect the unexpected when she inserted her finger into a friend’s pencil sharpener and twisted it to see if she could make her finger pointy.
The home-schooled, cornfed Iowa native stepped off the beaten path onto the road less traveled early in life with career ambitions that ranged from psychiatry to espionage. After high school, she threw caution to the wind and moved to Minnesota, where she earned her BA in Social Work from North Central University.
Exploring all avenues after college, she ventured forth as a career counselor for newly arrived refugees, helping them find their first job in America.
A woman of action, her next escapade was as a professional development trainer and eventually, training manager at a local workforce development agency. Knowing that fortune favors the brave, Sarah pivoted to a large international agency and eventually, dared to launch a resume writing and career coaching business in the midst of a global pandemic.
When Sarah isn’t finding and placing awesome candidates in equally awesome creative roles at Celarity, you can find her in a quest for amazing travel deals, running half marathons or, alongside her husband, Rob, enjoying the exploits of her two cats.
